Avram Taranto is one of the most respected figures in the Turkish iron and steel, chrome, fertilizer, and metals industries, distinguished by his deep industry knowledge and decades of experience.

During the 1970s, after spending 7 years in Singapore he ruturned to Turkey to manage Turkish office of Philipp Brothers, one of the world’s largest trading companies.

In 1985, he co-founded Ormet together with his partners and continues to contribute to the company through his extensive knowledge and lifelong experience.
